Incredible... Just incredible

GuitarMaster3000

I have been looking for an app to sound this good. Even spent a lot for in app content in BiasFX and STILL wasn't satisfied. I loved this in the first 5 minutes. I use an Irig HD with great results. Just sounds more natural and amp like to me

The best.

Pangoat

Out of all the amp sims I have ever used this one sounds and functions the best. Hardly ever bugs out, super reliable, amazing control and best of all the range of tones and fx available are the best I've ever seen. From warm rich tones to super mean gritty to totally out there stuff I've never heard. It's all here. And the support is amazing too.

please update

I tried uploading my recording to Soundcloud & the track length said 0:00. Tried emailing to to someone, they said it played no audio & had no track length. PLEAS FIX THIS.

Great app, even for pros

Dsfoyle

A lot of people write app reviews based on first impressions which is annoying. I have tested this app for over a year including using it in a professional studio setting. The tones sound completely believable alongside real instruments properly recorded. Settings can be customized to an amazing degree yet the interface is simple. This means you can spend hours geeking out or simply plug in and play. The basic sounds are as good or better than all competitors and some of the proprietary effects are unbelievably cool, as they are modeled after coveted pieces of gear that you will likely never have access to. The designers have excellent taste and don't push the user toward any particular style of music production. A++

Dreadful GUI = fail

Danhedonia

Sounds ok when opened (not superior). From there, good luck. At this point in the evolution of apps, a GUI this non-intuitive is unacceptable. Look elsewhere.

top of the heap

HatTrix

I've tried them all and this is by far the best sounding and versatile of the top 3: 1. ToneStack 2. Jammup (Bias) 3. Mobile Pod

Best amp modeler on iTunes

MakeShftProtocol

I've tried every amp modeler on iTunes. This is the best one. The feel and reaction of the amps is more realistic than others. There are more than enough fx to make any sound you want. Get a stereo amp rig going and experiment with cabs and mic placement making a huge difference in tone. I play thru high quality monitoring headphones or speakers. Not sure how it sounds for a live rig bypassing power amp emulation.

I would not recommend this app for the Artiphon Instrument 1 on the iphone. I paid $9.99 and could not get it to work. Their help screens and manuals are impossible for an amateur to understand, as they refer to screens, controls and functionality within the app that you cannot find and they do not provide screen shots. While the midi in apparently recognized the Instrument 1 I could not get the app to recognize the Instrument 1 as a midi out amp. The company provides no email address for technical help. Don't waste your money.

Best rig simulation on IOS

warmlion

Far and away the most fun in a full rig simulation on an iPhone. The dual signal paths are a gas to play with and no issues with running out of CPU on an iPhone 6. Didn't care for the models of the echoplex and elec mistress. A couple things I would like to see in a future release. A ping pong echo option and a simulation of a Dimension D chorus.
