Lots of fun! Toddlers love this app!

This and the other quiz apps are really cool so easy to use, kids just love them and learn the alphabet at the same time. Great sounds also!

great for learning the alphabet and for listening comprehension

Super simple, engaging, and interactive. Very young children have no problem figuring out what to do and they will stick with it. I love reading books with my kids on my lap and having them point out letters and shapes on the page -- this app is great for lap-reading, too, but also fun to watch them play on their own.

Great fun way to learn the alphabet

This app is a great way to teach kids the alphabet. Whether they get the answers right or wrong, they are still learning the letters, and it keeps them engaged longer than other alphabet apps I've seen

really simple but great for kids

simple app to teach the alphabet as a game, rewards your children with stickers after every few times they get the right answer. Very encouraging mommy's voice over

GREAT Learning Tool

GREAT!!! If your child hasn't learned his or her alphabets then this app is sure to help. It's simple, but to the point. There isn't any crazy graphics that'll distract from the learning process. Instead, it awards the child at the end of each session with a sticker that they can choose and a sticker page to put their stickers on. How it works: Random letters are displayed. A voice will ask for you to touch a specific letter. If the correct letter is touched, it'll proceed to the next set of letters. If the wrong letter is touched, that letter will disappear so it is not selected again. The other letters will remain and it will not proceed until the correct letter is chosen. After a few rounds of this a page full of random pictures (or stickers) is displayed. Your child can choose one to put on their sticker page. The great thing about this is each time a letter is touched, the voice will say what that letter is even if it isn't the correct letter. I had an app similar to this one where it would make a buzz sound instead of the voice saying what the incorrect letter was. At least with this app the child is learning even when they choose the wrong letter. THIS IS A MUST HAVE.

Great Start

My son who is almost 2 enjoys this app. The audio is clear and font size and contrast is good. There is no distracting music in the background which is also nice. I would give it 5 stars if developers tweaked just a few features. When a new letter is requested the child should have to hear the name of that letter prior to being able to pick from the choices. This would ensure that they know what they are trying to find, rather than interrupting the audio and poking at the screen until they happen to get it correct. As a teacher I would like a data feature added. I would like to be able to check how many letters were selected prior to the correct answer. A total percent correct would also be nice. When mastery is near 90% it would be nice if lower case letters were also available and different font styles as well. This would insure that the child can recognize that letter when slightly different styles are used. When the reward sticker is selected and then placed on the page the sound it plays should last longer as it is currently presented the play time is very short. Maybe they child could touch the reward screen a predetermined number of times to hear sticker sounds repeated. For example after hearing three sticker sounds or when they don't touch the screen at all after three seconds the game returns to letters, I have not purchased the other iTot apps yet. I am hoping to see a few simple improvements first. If they are made I will recommend this app to other teachers who work with young children or those with special needs.

Minor tweak(s) -- Would make this *ASTOUNDING*!!!

:-/ *****incorrect choices disappear too fast!***** I have just downloaded with the intent of playing with my 3 y/o daughter who happens to have Down syndrome. I played through a couple screens and noticed that when the INCORRECT letters are tapped - they disappear and then the letter name is said..... This truly IS awesome, h o w e v e r. ----- what would make this APP universally SUPER AMAZING is if the incorrect letter bolded, color changed, turned to gray or black, enlarged, or tipped gently side-to-side BEFORE disappearing. (Just a 1 second emphasis of some kind on that wrong letter AS the letter name is said and BEFORE it goes away.) Then the child would have the Visual in combination with the Vocal utterance of the letter they chose. This would serve the needs of children with challenges, visual learners, and kiddos in general. Please, please, puh-leaze can you make this change????? :-) One other thought might be to have an "Easier" and "Standard" option so early learners (my 18 m/o) or children with delays (my 3 y/o) might be able to begin this game with a field of 2, or 3, or 4 choices..... Even more mind blowing would be if you could choose yourself between having a field of 2, 3, or 4. My daughter is very proficient when choosing things from a field of 2 - 3, but more than 4 dramatically decreases her success rate at this age. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ The fact that you were so thoughtful in creating this to allow for learners to absorb through trial and error and achieve success within a narrowing of the field of choice is very forward thinking. GOOD JOB! >>>>You guys R O C K <<<< ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Toddler Alphabet Game

Not very entertaining or challenging for my 3 year old. There are better games which ask about multiple subjects.
