My husband downloaded this app, so I let him write this review. By Daniel Pereira: I moved to Chicago from outside the States a year and a half ago, to study for 2 years. I came up with this idea of having a picture of all the new beers I would try during this adventure. A nice visual log of memories and moments (at the end, beers are usually linked to nice celebrations). A few month after I arrive, and having collecting around 30 beers, my best friend told me about this app. Ever since that moment I use Today's Beer. A couple of days ago I uploaded my 114th beer, and I always use the app as a map for my future drinks. The app is simple and yet elegant and functional. Options are restricted inside the app, but basically because there is not much more to know about every beer. The glass picture just makes it perfect, since you can appreciate the color and consistency of the beverage. The picture themselves are awesome! The resolution and texture in every beer is just amazing. Once you have seen a beer here, you can go and drink it and know exactly how it will be in terms of density, consistency, etc (trust me, I can tell!). I find the font size to be ok, especially because I do prefer the pictures to take most of the screen display. Increasing the font size will mean to decrease the picture size, and that will ruin the idea of the app. I will improve the twitter link though. It will be nice to have a picture in your tweet, additional to the information it automatically provides. When I tweet, is basically because I want my followers to see what I am seeing. In sum, this is a 5 stars app by far!

My husband I check out the new beer every morning and love the detail and pictures. I like reading the next day's hint, but have been taking screenshots to remember the full hint the next day if it sounds particularly intriguing. My only wish for this app is for there to be another icon to touch to reveal the hint that was given the day before. Even without this, still one of my top apps - I may go a few days without checking my mail, but check this everyday! Thanks!!!

A must have for the non-domestic beer drinker. Would love to see you incorporate a view of the cap...for all collectors who plaster fridges with made magnets. iPhone 5 screen support please. Keep up the good work!

Pretty, but useless.

It shows a pretty picture of a beer bottle, tells the ABV, and brewer info, but I can get that by looking at a beer bottle IRL. There's not even a sentence about the qualities of the beer itself. What's the point? I'd like to see a review, perhaps a few words about why I might or might not like it. Pointless app, don't waste space on your phone.

Great visuals of pint view & bottle view, especially 360 rotation. The beer selection & brewery details are nice, but notes of the beer taste profile itself would make this a 5-star indispensable app for beer aficionados looking for new beers to try.
