Before you buy this I need to tell anyone interested in buying this that..... Toca boca isn't just a fun word to say. It has a meaning. I was learning Spanish and then I found the word toca. I was ecstatic that there is a meaning behind it! But what I found out was disgusting. Toca means touches. Boca means mouth. What does this mean? Do they want the children of the future to touch their mouths? Why? I would like you to keep this in mind before buying this game.

This is an awesome game and totally worth the money! You can do their hair AND accessories! I love this game and always have and I feel the same way about Toca Boca!

This is so boring all you do is pick a character then fix its hair then Color it wash it put stuff on it and take picture this is so boring why did they even make it a app!!!!??? I made a mistake when I got this app!!?????????

I love this game it is so fun , but I wish you could actually turn the person you are styling around towards the door where you could cut the back.( I wish she/he could rotate)

I have 3 g'children who play Toca Boca games. We began when the 1st was 3. At age 3, even though she didn't understand many features, the games were among her favorites. She is now 5 1/2 and we have collect about 10 Toca Boca games. Her enjoyment of the games has not lessened. She's found most tools and tricks & has better technique. Also, she had the comfort of familiar games she's had for years and can relax in that routine. Her 2 y/o twin siblings have watched her play and tried for a turn by any means at their disposal. Deciding I'd see how they'd do, I set them up w/ separate devices which I placed on the sofa within easy arms' reach their height ? (where they stood side by side waiting). In the 10 seconds they allotted me I gave them a quick intro to the game and left them to it. They used a very few features & needed frequent cueuing at first, but soon could find windows for preferred actions -like rinsing off shampoo with a showerhead- I saw them strategizing and building their skills at an astonishing rate that day.. They concentrated intensely, playing Hair Salon 2 ??, Toca Kitchen ??? & C'mas Salon??? - several times that day. (That night, I found 27 Toca haircut photos on my phone ?). The twins' were so full of happy chemicals. With such delight I was riveted just watching them. They barely even speak yet. It was just a week after their second birthday! Then... A MIRACLE OCCURRED! When either twin's game stalled in some way, instead of snatching the other's working game as was the current standard, whomever had a difficulty turned to me and serenely surrendered his device ?. Then he ? watched & waited for me to magically fix it. I briefly felt I was in a parallel universe ?. I joke that these kids worship the ground I walk on, however, I admit my stature is surely enhanced by the joy I proffer via fun like the Toca Boca games! If, like me ?, you are not fluent in the frightening ? "video games" so popular today, Toca Boca's Hair Salon and the many others are pleasurably NOT ?? in that category. Have fun with them… and do share them with your kids!

This game in my opinion is better quality than the other games. Very cute game and I love this. It is very life like to me, I love how it's like a human experience through technology. I recommend this game.

I really love this app. I have it both on my iPad and iPhone, because I love it so much. I'm glad I found another cute game appropriate for kids and takes none of my data! #recommend I also babysit and even watch my younger cousins and they have even downloaded the app itself on their devices because they love it!
