The "winmail.dat" file can contain attachments, contact files (.vcf) or calendar files (.ics) as well as a rich text or HTML version of the email body. TNEF's Enough can open the "winmail.dat" file and allow you to extract the attachments.
G-d bless you, Josh Jacobs! Your TNEF’s Enough app worked the 1st time to allo m to open and print a document received as winmail.dat! This is not the fist app like this I’ve used; it IS the only app that worked!
Doesn’t do the one thing it is designed to do, open .dat files from emails. Complete was of code.
Thank you. I’d get these winmail.dat files and wince “ nobody else ever has a problem” .....not anymore. Thank you.
This is very useful and actually works. I had to open a file school related and when I found out about this app it was a life saver. Very recommended and easy to use.
Once email is copied to this app, the app does NOT show winmail.dat attachments. Worthless to me.
Just downloaded and have used several times. It works great! Thank you
For as little as I receive winmail.dat files this is the only app that would let me open them for free so no complaints here. When I tap the attachment and copy it to the app it does open up and say "error reading file" as if it didn't work but then I hit ok and tap on the file below and it worked like a charm.
