I recently downloaded this app out of curiosity because I listen to a lot of ASMR on YouTube. So far so good. My favorite feature is that the video continues to play when you switch apps.

I love this app a lot, and it’d be amazing if it could continue this way. It’s so handy and well put together, I can’t imagine watching ASMR on YouTube anymore.

Annoying “ads” now playing

Even after the update that removed almost every ASMRtist I listened to, I stuck with this app and found new channels with smaller followings. I loved that I could make a playlist to fall asleep to. Now, however, there are ANNOYING ad messages that play MUCH LOUDER between EVERY video that will jolt you awake! This totally defeats the purpose of listening to ASMR!! They obviously care more about money than content.

I found this app after it was recommended by Dr. T (IIRC) on YouTube. It's an excellent go-to for ASMR videos, and you can still play audio while your phone's locked. The app is simple, straightforward, and intuitive, and discovering new artists and videos is easy. I highly recommend this app for anyone who needs to rest and disconnect from the world - even if only briefly.
