Good multiplication tables game.

Good multiplication tables game. I had trouble getting my son to learn his times tables. He wanted a multiplication game more like the ones on his video game system. He uses the game the day before tests and has made a lot of improvement. He aced the last timed test. I had to write this review because it has made my life easier. (I was never very good with times tables myself and am glad to see him doing better than I did.)

WOW-LOVE IT!!

This game is great! My son loves it :) I have never had him begging to practice his math facts before;) Unbelievable deal for the money. We were just about to start memorizing flashcards to get him ready for the school year when we stumbled across this game--thank goodness--what fun!! My son is learning his math facts, and having a great time in the process. Highly recommend!

Good but could be "Great"

This game is OK but not perfect ( yet) and deserves to bought to encourage the developers to fix a few of its faults. I gave it 4 stars as for its faults its still more likely to get your chid to spend time playing it than some the other timetables games that are out there but you try a few different apps to see what works for your child. The faults are minor given the work that has already gone into it. 1) it needs a sound track, with rewarding noises when answers are correct etc 2) the review section is just a waste of time , my guess is they had the code to do asteroids and just stuck it in for fun 3) the levels need to be progressive ( use where is my water as an example game) i.e.: you can't play level 5 without having passed level 4 4) once you have done 3) you need to add in multiple accounts so each child in the family can restart where they left off 5) once you have 3) and 4) done you can then log the times tables they get wrong and increase the frequency of them appearing 6) a small thing but the surfing characters are harder ( for Dad) to pilot to the correct answer than the rabid Koala character.

Good multiplication facts game.

My son loves it. He plays it the night before tests and has done well at school with times tables. For the price you can't beat it. Go for it.

My daughter knows her times tables now.

My daughter actually said to me, “Mom, I just know my times tables now.” I teach third grade this year. This is the year most children in the U.S. start to learn multiplication facts. We installed this game, and the Arithmemouse Addition Subtraction Game, by the same folks on all of the ipads in my class. It's fun to watch the kids play-- tilting the device left and right to steer into the right answer. I like that the app is focused on teaching with a review of the facts before children play. Kids learn without ever feeling like they're learning. Good app.
