The Viking Age is the period A.D. from late 8th century to mid 11th century in European history, especially Northern European and Scandinavian history, following the Germanic Iron Age.[1] It is the period of history when Scandinavian Norsemen explored Europe by its seas and rivers for trade, raids and conquest. In this period, the Norsemen settled in Norse Greenland, Newfoundland, and present-day Faroe Islands, Iceland, Normandy, Scotland, England, Ukraine, Ireland, Russia, Germany, and Anatolia. Though Viking travellers and colonists were seen at many points in history as brutal raiders, many historical documents suggest that their invasion of other countries was retaliation in response to the encroachment upon tribal lands by Christian missionaries, and perhaps by the Saxon Wars prosecuted by Charlemagne and his kin to the south,[2][3][4][5][6] or, were motivated by overpopulation, trade inequities, and the lack of viable farmland in their homeland.[citation needed] Information about the Viking Age is drawn largely from what was written about the Vikings by their enemies, and primary sources of archaeology, supplied with secondary sources like the Icelandic Sagas.

I really wanted to try this game. Unfortunately I can not get past the opening screen. It just doesn’t work. I am going to uninstall. Not happy. Update** If I wait about 3 or so minutes I do get to the first level however I have to touch all over the screen to get a selection on where to go which is not good in a timed game. I wish this game would not end up in the graveyard and could be worked on since it seems like it could be good.

Couldn't even start game when an ad popped up. At least let us start playing before you start in with ads. Deleted app before ad finished.

No way to get rid of the ads, and there are a ton of them, including some rather lengthy videos. Too bad because it is actually a pretty decent game.

I would give this game 5 stars because it's fun to play but you have to watch a 30 second ad before EACH level!!!!

I can’t really tell if the game is any good because you are forced to watch constant ads. The developer needs to add a pay option to remove ads. Do they just not want people to play their game? I don’t get it.
