Not Intuitive

ABNIV

Very confusing, too complicated, and not intuitive.

The best for Time

If you want to work on your time, this is the app for you. I use it every time I practice.

Excellent tool

Thanks to whoever designed this! I’ve never rated or reviewed an app but want to highly recommend this as a great tool. Really well designed and more flexible than most metronome apps that are hemmed in by the concept of meter.

Finally!

ztrane

A serious metronome, including really intuitive compound meters, written by a serious musician for other serious musicians. Thanks so much!

One of my most used apps

I find this very useful for practicing musical pieces, and learning how to keep a steady tempo. I also use this app for paced breathing exercises to help improve my heart rate variability.

Be on your game.

This is a great tool for all musicians, get it and get to work!

One of a Kind

This metronome has a few features that no other metronome provides, namely the random muting and being able to create any rhythm. A few features that I would like to see in future updates are: 1. The ability to rearrange the rhythms created in the meter select area. Currently, if there are multiple meters selected and I want to change the order, I have to delete them and start again. I would like to be able to drag one meter and place it somewhere else in the line up. 2. A menu for different rhythmic units. Instead of having to cycle through in decreasing order of duration, I would prefer to open a menu with all available note values to save time when trying to select the right value. 3. 32nd notes! Currently, the shortest note value is the 16th septuplet. It would be nice to just add one more value and get the 32nd note. 4. More control over the sounds of strong and weak beats. Currently, there are a lot of options for different timbres, but there is no way to change the sound of beats 1 and 2, for example. Hopefully the developers will be able to continue the innovation that this metronome has already demonstrated.

Simple with a few unique features

Being able to easily input rests and any combination of best groupings make this a must have app. Also, the random mute feature is great when you really want to test yourself and see how well you are internalizing the beat!

instructions please

there does not appear to be a simple explanation anywhere on line on how to use this thing. So its useless and very FRUSTRATING. I was trying to combine repetitive triplet/sixteenth notes and for the life of me... uggghhhh!!!! Still struggling with this — I never use it as its hard to clear

Started out great

This is a wonderful idea but it has a bug. I can no longer get rid of a set of four notes once I create it. I’ve tried resetting the app as well as redownloading. Please fix this because it will make this the best metronome out there.
