I use this app for kayaking (high tide) and walking the beach when I enjoy low tide. Works as expected- love this app!!!

A ham fisted app

This app insists on showing tides for the location it believes is nearest to me. It calls this your Current Location. Trouble is - its off by 15 miles. I have never visited that geographical area. There is NO WAY to change this. It DOES allow u to add locations of your own choosing - and it has several I can choose from that are closer to me. Still - it's annoying and should be fixed. On the plus side - it shows high and low tides time and height. There are better apps out here.

I live on a houseboat and since I never move this app works just fine for me. The location it uses is about half a mile south toward the Golden Gate which amounts to no more than a five minute time lag. Doesn’t replace a tide tables book which also gives current information.
