Causes Apple Watch Lags/Freezes

App causes Series 3 to lag badly when the app is installed on it ever since watchOS 7 came out. Once I uninstalled it, no more issues. It was also the only 3rd party app installed. You need to fix your app.

The City of Petaluma Marina is decades behind on dredging. That may some day change. So they say. Before I sail anywhere, I check the tides. I need at least 4’ of water. The tides are crystal clear. Graphics easy to understand. Touch the screen and get an instant time / height read out. Ebb- flow a cinch. I don’t want to fight the river. So I can easily predict the best time to head into San Pablo or SF or Carquinez Straight. The app brings up the right chart for location. No computations necessary.

The advertising on your App is totally obnoxious. I know I can upgrade and eliminate the ads, but when it is so obvious that is the intent of the ads, it doesn’t make me want to update, but rather choose a different application.

Very easy to use. Captures location so that you don’t have to search tide stations. Great visual graphing with a long time horizon.

I’ve had this app for a couple years now and found it useful, but I’m deleting it due to the invasive ads. This app puts full page, full sound ads, which play at full volume despite the sound being muted on the phone. In addition, there is no obvious way to mute or stop the ads from playing, you just have to let it play out or close the app. There are plenty of other tide apps, I recommend finding a different one that will respect the user audio settings instead of assaulting them with advertisements.
Plays loud ads even when phone is on silent

This is ridiculous. I get that free apps need ads, but this one is the worst I’ve ever seen, forcing you to listen to ads every other time you use it. Plays them full blast even when phone is on silent. Zero stars.

I volunteer with a turtle nesting survey in Hawaii. Recording tides is an integral part of that. “Tides” makes that as simple as can be! One click and the exact location and tide tables are in my hand!

The pop iPads often hangs after displaying ads. Also syncing between watch and app after results I wrong tide info.
