A new twist on an old favorite

This is a simple yet addiciting and challenging twist on an old concept. I never would have thought that new life could be given to an old game like this.

Surprisingly Addictive!

This is a great strategy based casual puzzle game that flew under my radar, then sucked me in with it's unique gameplay. Excellent user interface, several game options, interchangable skins, and a fun AI give Tic Tac Toe Ten it's addictive qualities. Because it's turned based and it's played on a grid, comparison to a simple tictactoegame is deceiving. Perhaps that is what's holding back this game's popularity. I assure you that this game is more fun and complex than the name suggests. I believe that setting the price point lower will gain the dev more sales, even though the game is well worth it's current price.

Don't like the rules. It's not very fun. Sorry. I like tic tac toe, but I don't like this.

Stupid rules

This game needs to let you choose which big grid you place your x or o instead of it choosing for you

Ehhhhhhh.

Playing against the computer is extremely unfair. You never win. Maybe it's me but it always seems to end up on a grid that's already taken when it's your turn. Please make this more fair!!! It is awesome when two people are playing though!

It's unbelievable that several reviewers have given this innovative game a low score because the rules increase its difficulty. That'd be like complaining about chess because you can't move all the pieces in any direction you choose. Thank goodness the developers didn't dumb this game down for the mentally challenged, because "...allowing players to place a symbol in the field of their choice..." (or whatever the previous asinine comment was to that effect) would make it so similar to ordinary tic-tac-toe as to make it a mediocre experience at best. That said, an alternate method of play in which a player doesn't win the game until he/she gets three entire fields in a row (instead of just three symbols in a single field) might make this gem even more of a challenge...though there would be some parameters to work out. Give this game a try. If you have more upstairs than just a brain stem, you might enjoy it.

Fun and challenging

This game is really awesome. Normal tic-tac-toe is, well, played out. Boring. Done and done. This game, however... whee doggie. This isn't a game you can idly play- this is one that requires 110% of your attention and then some. One false move and you're done for. I'm willing to bet that all the one star reviews are people thinking that it's a 9-up version of tic-tac-toe. It ain't. While it does take some getting used to, it's an absolutely phenomenal variation on a timeless classic and one that'll exercise your grey matter to the max. Heck, I'm quite the strategist and I'm only batting .25 against the AI with this game. tl;dr version- Who this game is for: Those who absolutely appreciate a challenge. The chess players. The Risk players. Who this game isn't for: Those who want to click shiny buttons without thinking
