If my son can win some games on this, it certainly can't hurt how he does on tests in school. He liked the help, too. This is some serious math!

I LOVE this. Been looking all over the app store for something to revive and challenge my algebra skills (i haven't taken a math class in over 10 years!) that was still game-like, and this is the one. It starts out easy but you can make it VERY challenging. My only suggestions for improvement are options for more instruction (I went to a separate math website to try and remember how to do these problems), possibly a "hints" option if you get stuck on a problem, or an option to see the answer so you can figure out how to get there for future problems. It also would be nice to be able to back out of a problem if you decide you want to try a different square. Still, without any of those being implemented this is an awesome game! I would definitely pay for more like this. Totally worth the price, far from being 2-dimensional, the breadth of different problems and types of problems available keep it engaging.

This game is fun and a great way to practice. I have discovered no issues at the lower ability level, but at the harder levels, I have found that the correct answer is sometimes counted as wrong. I worked and re-worked a problem before finally checking it on-line on one of those calculating web sites. Sure enough - I was right and the game was wrong. Subsequently, I found a few more that had the same problem. I would advise the gamemaker to check all problems and answers.....
Easy way to engage students in practicing skills

Students don't always want to do worksheets or flashcards for practicing their skills, but this is an engaging way for them to practice and improve. Love the "Help" function that walks them through the process to let them solve it on their own

A game to practice algebra? The levels of difficulty in Tic Tac Math Algebra make it so that my kids can really test their skills with algebra. In-app help is a nice feature that reminds them how to certain types of equations. Fun game...
