Ah, Like the old days

If you liked artifex mundi's first few games then you'll like this one. It has a interesting cohesive story line, fun graphics, reasonably challenging games, clear cut objectives. It's really good.

If you play a lot of hogs, they can get a little boring. What makes them exceptional, is amazing graphics, audio, variety and story. This one had excellent graphics, but it was so monotonous. The audio was also very monotonous- every hog scene had the exact same music. I also felt like I ended up using hint because I was super stuck, but then realized the resolution was something that didn't make sense. Example, there was a panel covered with moss. The solution was to use a metal file to remove the moss, this just didn't seem logical. It seemed every time I used the hint, there was some illogical solution. So I would say if your new to hogs go for it, but if your a little more jaded like I am, pass.

I don't normally turn on the sound when playing games but it recommended it and I thought what the heck I'll try it. This game has all of the features, puzzles, games, I normally love but it was like playing a movie! The graphics were beautiful, the music...someone put a LOT of work into this and as a result, you get lost in the game just as you would a good movie. The music makes you feel, cues the action/scary/peaceful times. I don't normally pay for games, but I'm so glad I got this one. It's quite long too so I actually felt like I got my money's worth! I kept waiting for it to end at any minute and it really is a nice long journey. The storyline is really nice, makes me wish I had gotten to know the characters before the journey so I felt more invested in them as a person. It definitely has a very unique quality of almost feeling like a movie you're in and controlling so they could definitely take that to the next level. My ONLY suggestion/feedback to the developers is that it would be even better if the puzzles were more challenging and involved. The kept me very busy! And I know it's a fine line because if they're just a pain then it's easy to close the game and "come back later." But a bit more of a challenge within the puzzles would be a fun adjustment here. Just loved the story, graphics and music. Really really enjoyed! Recommended to friends and family! Enjoy!!

This game was on sale for $1.99 and this was a super deal as game had lengthy play with extra bonus as well. Theme worked, colors were illuminating and beautiful, animals sneaking around were darling, and there were diverse puzzles to inspire continuous play. I actually liked the number of HO's but some may not. Will continue to purchase from this developer.

This was a joy to play. If you like HO mini games, then get this. It probably had twice as many as in any other game. Transporting map and no bugs or lag. Big Fish could learn a thing or two from the producers of this gem.

After spending several years away from gaming and turning to other pursuits, I found this game an easy one to jump right into. The graphics were truly wonderful and I thought the game play was easy to understand and to follow the goals and pursuits. I am already caught up in the pleasure of choosing my path. Interesting story. Excellent puzzles(some are easy, some are more difficult). Love the object searches. Just the kind of thing I like to do while dosing in bed.

So far, I am enjoying this app. It is a little disjointed when you don't move in the expected direction, but the map helps a lot to get you back on track. I like not having to beat a clock or rate myself against anyone else. Some of the items in the hos are morphing items, and some are hidden. You don't know which until you find them. But the scenery is beautiful and the films are fun. All in all, I like this.
