Over 300 thousand home-chefs uses Thyme and knows that fine dining needs fine timing.

“It gets the job done and makes those complicated meals a little bit easier." - Lifehacker
“Thyme is a simple, yet cleverly designed app with an interface that looks like a kitchen stove and has a separate timer for each part..” - BuzzFeed
“Thyme offers a unique combination of features that easily sets it apart from the rest.” - Beautiful Pixels
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgh!” - Chewbacca

Thyme is the simplest and most basic kitchen timer you could envision. It covers all your timer needs in the kitchen. This is so you can give full focus on that delicious food you’ve got cooking.

Our kitchen timer gives you a simple and clean layout over your kitchen stove. Four hot plates on top and an oven in the front. To set a timer you simply tap it, swipe it. Boom! You’re done!

In Thyme 2.0 we spent a lot of time to get the Apple Watch experience just right, and before we knew it, we had made an app that worked almost better than it’s bigger brother. Of course they get along great, so all timers you’ve got running on the iPhone app transfers auto-magically to your Watch and vice versa.

It´s really that simple!
Because fine dining needs fine timing.

- NEW! Companion Apple Watch App
- The smart and simple UI makes setting new timers super easy.
- Multiple timers running at the same time…kind of a no-brainer right?
- Our timers support setting hours as well as minutes.
- Gorgeous and modern UI design that fits right in with iOS
- It just works as you’d expect it to.

Since its launch in Christmas 2013 Thyme has won numerous awards and continues to receive critical acclaim.

Thyme is built by a super small team in Norway, dedicated to bring you the best cooking experience possible on these small screens we love so much. We’d love to know how we can make you an even better chef, so get in touch via the App Store “Support” link, or tweet us @UseThyme

Needs one more feature...
BruiserBabe1997

I'm liking this! I do have a suggestion, though. If it could prevent the phone's auto-lock from turning on while Thyme is in use, that be great. Having to repeatedly unlock my phone to see the timers while cooking is very inconvenient.

Add ability to shortcut
Hans333ma

Please add the ability to create shortcuts. I have times I always use and would like to use one click to set a few different timers

Inflexible notifications
Doc FlimFlam

I understand the need for notifications, I want to know when the timer is finished. What I don’t understand is the insistence that ALL notifications be on, sounds, badges, banners, all screens, everything. It’s lazy programming, not accessibility focused as the developer has claimed in response to another review.

Fantastically useful!!!

This app is perfect for someone (like me) who often has several things cooking on different burners, plus one in the oven. It’s so easy to time multiple pots, and to know which pot’s timer is going off. Bravo!

Doesn’t work on iOS 13.1 iPhone 11 Pro Max
N/A888

Constantly crashes when I open the app. It’s a shame; this was my go-to timer app. Maybe it’s because I’m on the Beta, but it worked fine on my iPhone 7 Plus.

Not getting past notification setting screen.
Cogle123

Update: I deleted & downloaded the app again and now it’s not even opening. Zero stars would be better. Original: Despite the fact that I have notifications turned on for this app, it won’t allow me to get past the screen telling me to allow notifications. I tried turning off & back on notifications just to see if that worked, but no. I’m on iPhone X iOS 13.1.2. This used to work but I haven’t needed it for a long time. Oh well.

Abandoned by developers
FF5fanatic

I cant even open the app because it hasnt been updated in 3 years. It is incompatible with the new ios, so when I try to open it, it just crashes immediately and screws up my phone. No thanks. The idea is really cool and I was so excited to try it. Shame i wont ever get to.

Removal of watch app a mistake
AviN456

I used the watch app on a regular basis, far more than I used the phone app. I may ditch the app entirely now that the watch app was removed.
