Way too expensive

The very limited free content is pretty good and entertains my kid, so I went to unlock everything, expecting a cost between $10-15, then read some reviews saying it’s $20. Decided to go for it anyway. It’s $40! Not a chance. Feels like social distancing price gouging because the developer knows more kids are home and needing to keep busy.

My younger son is huge Thomas fan as well as trains in general. For about six months, this was his preferred game for when he was allowed screen time. And, although he hasn’t played it quite as often, he still picks it up and enjoys it. Admittedly, the overall cost of the game with its DLC is prohibitive if you buy it individually; however, we started using DLC unlocks as part of a reward system, which ended up being perfect. Long story short - the game is worth it if you have a Thomas enthusiast as it’s involving enough to go beyond the toddler years.

I paid for this game, I can accept a pop-up ad in the beginning but a full video ad that can’t be skipped in the middle of the game? That’s greed. Taking advantage of kids natural instincts to tap on the screen. Shame on you Budge. I never buy from them again!
