Very easy to use app for printing documents on the go.

Can't Use This!

Downloaded this app only to find out it does not work on Windows XP, only Win7 or Win8.

Registration stated my email address was used. When I used the pw retrieval system it stated an error. When I used an alternative email for registration the verification system reported errors. I was looking forward to re-trying this app after seeing it reviewed on ABCnews TechBytes today. It's a great app in theory, but I'm now reminded why I discontinued my use.

Doesn't work on stand alone network printers where there's no general purpose computer available to run the connector. If you do have a computer and everything works right, you can get a print, but it may not print or print correctly. The difficulty is that most apps have no printing capability and for those that do it’s usually an after thought by the developer and all to often not well implemented. That said, this isn’t any fault of the ThinPrint developers. They took the only path that had a chance of working but the real issue is that mobile devices in general still have a long way to go before well formatted printing is the norm. I give the developer a lot of credit, the app is cleaver, it uses a brokered connection to punch through NAT and low end firewalls and deliver the print job to a real computer with the correct driver for the attached printer. However I would strongly advise this app not be used to connect to a computer within a cooperate network where the IT staff professionally configures high end firewalls, not only will they identify and block an inbound encrypted tunnel but you’re likely to receive a personal visit from IT as well.

Mac w/ osx10.8.4, iPhone 4S w/ ios6.1.3. Only allows imgs, no text. Doesn't work for either. Wsj said it works osx/iOS, but it doesn't.

Totally inadequate instructions. Can't print from iPad or iPhone With computer on and cloud app installed. Yet another totally useless printing app.

This app does not work. Spent a lot of time trying to make this work without any success. Very disappointing. Also, they should include instructions for the use of ThinPrint.

"can't use with wireless printer" was previous comment. So far, that's my experience. "Safari can't download" is what I'm getting. I have OSX.

I find this app very useful when I'm on the go, I can print from any app to my home printer. As soon as i come home and turn ON my pc, the jobs print. One thing that i need to remember that from the app, I have to Select "share" or "open in.." Then select Thinprint cloud printer. At first I was hitting the AirPrint option but that's the built in apple feature that doesn't work with thinprint app. Once I choose the right option, it works like a gem ;)
