ThinkerToy:Shapes turns your iPad into a creative toy. The app comes bundled with 90 picture puzzle silhouettes organized by themes such as "Landmarks", "Robots" and "Transportation". You can create your own pictures using the provided palette of shapes, colors; rotating, scaling and positioning tools. You can then choose a sound effect or record your own to go with your picture. Finally you can share to the online gallery, or via email, Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr. The creative possibilities are endless!

I bought this app for my son, but I haven't stopped playing it yet! I love the way it links to a Wikipedia page once you've finished! Wonderful app!

On the very first puzzle one of the shapes is upside-down with no apparent way to rotate it. The help screen describes a set of tools that can manipulate shapes, however it doesn't actually tell you how to access those tools and no amount of tapping, pinching, punching, or throwing seem to have any effect. Yeesh...
