ANTIQUATED:(REALLY!)

The app store Editor's Choice must be from years ago because this app has not kept pace with wonderful development from their multi-platform (a must) competition. Editor's Choice awards should also include the year that they were awarded (or updated) because otherwise they lose meaning. I own both the iOS and OS X versions of Things, and although a very clean and simple design, it's way too limited structurally to be useful. It also takes way too many "taps" to get anything done. I've tried many competing products including ToDo, The Hit List, and my all-time favorite, 2Do. 2Do has beautiful flexibility and is everything that Things should be, and I got tired of waiting many years for Thing3. If and when Things3 is released I'll revisit this review.

Love this App!

For life and work, it has everything I need.

Easy, Elegant & Efficient

Fast, well-organized app. I get to speed thru planning so I have more time to accomplish tasks. Thank you!

(Used to) Love it

Updated July 2016: Omnifocus is complicated. If Things would just add more depth to the projects (nested tasks, folders) I would be back in a heart beat. As it stands, I have my Omnifocus set up like Things and I'm trying to make due. Also, Things 2 has been out since 2010. It's way passed time for a proper version 3 release. Updated 2015: I finally gave in and switched to Omnifocus. I needed subtasks and adjustable project types for my workflow and Things just doesn't cut the mustard. I've been a loyal Things user since 2009 but after years of futilely waiting for some key feature updates, I've finally given up on them. The bottom line is, Things is the 2nd best productivity app out there and it does a lot well, but if you are serious about implementing GTD, skip this and drop the money for Omnifocus. Old: I use this daily. Simpler than omnifocus and perfect for someone using GTD that doesn't want to deal with Omni's learning curve. A great tool!

One of my most essential apps

I use it every day

Best task management app!!!

Missy_D167

I have tried a lot of task and project management apps and I always go back to this one. It has everything I want and need!

Love it!

After lots of back and forth between todo apps, this is the mere stop. I just love it! I use it to track my tasks paired with a Calendar app to manage my day and I'm so happy with the setup.

Does not work with Watch

sflomenb

The app he not synced reliably or consistently with the Apple Watch since March. About 5 months. This is getting out of hand, I am extremely disappointed. Will update this review when the Watch app gets updated to properly sync again - if it ever does.

Apple Watch hasn't worked in 5 months

I love Things, but I cannot use it since the Apple Watch app has been broken with syncing problems since March. Syncing between iPhone and Watch apps just does not work. Will update this review once it is fixed, but it's already 5 months and counting.
