Useful but Limited

Mugby1

Ok app, but users need to be able to create their own categories.

Cloud needed!

I would use thinglist (I used to until i had to reinstall iOS) except there is no cloud integration. If you lose your stuff, it's lost forever.

Great app just need a few more things

Kellydmd

Overall love the app. It has really taken the place of random things I used to place in notes. 1. A category for websites/blogs 2. Photos 3. Link websites/maps 4. A few customizable categories

cool new keyboard

@mxew

i enjoyed it

Only a keyboard update ?

Everyone's been asking for editable categories and sync. I believe in supporting developers, paying for apps and appreciating the work they do, but this is really disappointing.

I really want to like it

But, I'm finding it too simple and too limited for me. I want to be able to customize and create categories. And maybe even subcategories. I want to be able to tick things as 'done' instead of deleting them -- helps me keep a record and make sure I'm not repeating myself. And most importantly, I frequently use my camera to document things I'm interested in, either out in the real world or using screen shot for something I'm seeing on my phone. I would really love a way to do this with Thinglist -- being able to add a picture from an album or take one from within the app. Frankly, because of the above I find myself not using the app as much as I could. Which is sad, because it's a great idea.

Better, but still needs work

Cordial Savage

1. Too cartoonish. 2. Needs more categories and/or the ability to customize categories. Good, but could be great! Look at Boximize for features.

Do not buy!

ginjin3

It was highly marketed and featured because of the visuals and the animation. However, this is an incomplete app and does not function. It’s pretty but it’s got one of the worst usability I have ever experienced. I would have just ignored it, but it was so hyped up that I bought it like a fool. Do not make the same mistake. Do not buy!

Want To Like It

I want to like this app. I like most of what it does and emailed the support contact with some suggestions and received a prompt reply that these ideas are already planned for future releases. That was over a year ago and these is still no sign of any enhancements. I’d suggest holding off on buying this until there are signs of life for this app.

Two update requests

I love the concept of this app and so far I have enjoyed using it. I don't mind the graphics and I appreciate the fact that it's not a huge, million-features-in-one app but I'd like to request the following: I wish that the keyboard didn't cut off the last line of text from sight in longer notes. I can still glimpse when a misspelled word is highlighted but if I saw what I was typing I probably wouldn't have as many spelling errors. Another feature that might be nice is if I could edit the date of an entry to an earlier date if I initially forgot to add it on the actual day. Along these lines, it might be nice to have a timeline view of your entries in chronological order (not calendar, though, because I feel like that would just make it feel like another to-do/journal app and by God, I already have 3 that I'm juggling to update once every 2.6 years). Cloud view of the different categories could be nice too so that the user can have a quick glance of what s/he has been enjoying or thinking about but if I had to pick between chronological and cloud views (for the purpose of keeping things simple), I would vote for chronological. Thank you for this cute app, keep up the great work, and I hope it won't be abandoned any time soon!!
