Retro-esque text-based RPGs often come across as poorly executed and buggy, however The Wanderer is the exception. Its simplistic designs, dynamic calculations, balanced gameplay, and re-playability make this game flawless from the get go. The Wanderer has quick load screens, fast paced game-play (no waiting around like most mobile-games), and a inviting landscape. Set in a dystopian world, you, The Wanderer survives the harsh environment, bandits, and hunger. Gameplay mechanics like Karma, Radiation, Hunger, and Thirst put you in various situations to help craft your own story and individual experience with The Wanderer. The quality of this game should keep it above the majority of other free-mobile apps, once I learned about it I was more than willing to pay for such a great experience. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to more of The Wanderer.

Fun minimalist game to play in idle time but with a few bugs Most small like freezing, close and reopen no big deal Sometimes though if you leave the game it won’t save your items I went from 11 to 0 after leaving the game a minute to send a text and had lost a lot of progress Not a bug but the dog also seems really hard to get but I want him Also it’s unclear what exploration and experience do in the skills And rads don’t really make any sense No consistency and there’s no item to remove them once you get to higher levels and it builds up If the disappear items one was fixed I would give it a five but that has messed up my game three different times in the past twenty four hours Also the supply crate timer sometimes resets for no apparent reason

Not a bad game but one major problem I’ve had is trying to get to the next location on the map. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or if I’m doing something wrong but the game won’t let me progress to the second area of the map or leave the start area even though I’m well past level 5.

Really good game. For those who are confused, to travel on the map you must have full food and water. This is a very good game, and you should try it if you are into simple survival.

It’s a mixture of role play and strategy and it’s not hard to get good at it I’m only been playing for a hour and I’ve gotten to day 300 I would like to see more locations and a official leaderboard
