This app allows toddlers some interaction with your phone so they can look at photos and watch some videos, but the great thing here is that it also protects everything else!
This app coincides with some hardware accessories we have available, which when brought together make the perfect combination. What this essentially means is that once you set the toddler up in this app, you are safe in the knowledge that everything else is safe.

This app does not lock the phone at all. Pressing the home button simply exits app for normal use.

I have not been able to find a toddler app that diables the home button. This one does not either. That is my main problem. Someone needs to come up with a toddler app that does this and entertains them too.

It's always helpful to read an app description before rating. Disabling the home button is something Apple does not allow - no app can do that. I do know that the company that created this app, however, has an exciting case in the later stages of production that will provide a lock option for the home button. Parents rejoice! :) This one is perfect for my toddler (18 months) - he simply likes to touch the screen to see what happens and occasionally plays with the home button. The animations are charming and the ability for him to be "locked" onto photos and videos is great, too. Of course parents can get out of the lock mode by using the multitouch (one finger at the top right and the other at the top lefthand portion of the screen). The Toddler Lock App is appropriate for little ones to young to comprehend most kiddie apps - A+!

This is a great idea but not implemented very well. It doesn't have enough entertainment to keep my kid busy so she just presses the home button to get out of it after about a minute. The interface is a good start but it doesn't even display complete photos and you can't view videos downloaded via iTunes (and blues clues is a must for me). Good start but keep working to make this better!

It's has real good animation and a good story for Screen-Saver but other then that I don't see much use in the app.

No, it does not disable the home button, so it doesn't work the way it is supposed to.

This app prevent my son from playing games when he learn something on the iphone. It's very useful and I think you can't miss it.

But the app does not disable home button like it says in the description, not a complete protection of the device. Not a tech geek, personally doesn't know if it is possible to disable the button at all, but if possible it would be great if the developers can work on that and update the app soon.
