ABOUT
The Letter is an interactive, horror/drama visual novel inspired by classic Asian horror films. Told through an immersive branching narrative, the game puts the players into the shoes of seven characters as they find themselves falling prey to a vicious curse plaguing the Ermengarde Mansion for centuries.
In this game, your choices will shape and drive the story forward: will you mend a relationship on the verge of collapse, or will you let it fall apart? Will you risk saving them, despite the consequences, or leave them to die a gruesome death? The fate of all the characters is in your hands.

It a good story but I wish for Rebecca x Isabella

Isabella is the only character that are free to play so I play her and throughout the story you can build the relationship between character and Rebecca and Isabella seem really close at the beginning the way they interact tell you that they are really close to each other I get the spark feeling of romance I got my hope up high for Rebecca and Isabella to end up together due to your guy awesome writing it make me feel like they are really adorable together (your guy hand writing fault it too ) and she is the first character that are free to play which I believe she should have more choice right?and I think love is free so gender is no restrict right but in the end I found out that they can not end up together and I felt like I have been chocked by forced inside my throat and then I got ending where she got crash by car which soffocate my throat even more(but it okay since I try different route I got the one where she escape ghost under the desk in her office) emotionally if I have a power of magic I would make the route for Rebecca and Isabelle since I think they deserve each other it just make me jealous of ash since he only person who Isabelle can get close to and there is one where Marianne and Hannah can get together but it not free.in my opinion Rebecca really deserve to be able to love Isabelle romancticly I just wish there is a way for them but it to late anyway you guy story and sound track is good in the future if u make another story like this please make the romance route for the first free character more available espescially the close one toward the character and more unhomophobic route but overall story is good

Soooooo funny story actually. I wrote a review, thinking this game was fake/stolen, which I now know it isn’t (thankfully!). Silly, tired me decided to research if the app was real AFTER i wrote a review. I found the link, which led me here. What threw me off was the fact that it was free and that only one chapter was available. I should’ve known that it’s gonna take time to get such a detailed (but amazing) game on here, but we all make mistakes haha. I apologize to the founder for jumping to conclusions and thank him for responding me and giving the correct info! I really do love this game and I can’t wait for the future updates! I recommend this game 100% to everyone! \(^o^)/

So far so good, just wish some features from the PC version could be in the app version. (Journal and Tracking Routes). Otherwise though, really great, can't wait to continue playing, really enjoying the voice acting.

This game got me hooked by the beautiful art, storyline, and scares. The price may deter you away but I don’t regret buying all the chapters. My favorite point of view is from Hannah’s cause she’s such an interesting character. Looking forwards to future apps!

So the game is amazing! The story and the voices are wonderful. I am still bummed out that there is no branching tree on the iOS version. I mean this game is so complex and I always feel like I’m missing something. Also the epilogue is a bit anticlimactic, especially after that amazing dynamic of storylines and sometimes I just wanted more to Isabella’s route since it seemed so short. Maybe someday in the future there might be more detail to things going on in the background. For example, during Luke’s route, it feels like all the other characters aren’t even there with him in the house at the end. They don’t have any dialogue and kind of slipped into background noise. I would like totally pay more money for more chapters of what’s going on with all the characters throughout the entirety of the story just because everything is so wonderful to read and I think everyone has characters they prefer. Just a little side suggestion from an avid fan. Please keep up the good work!

As stated above, I love the game. Only one small bug I’ve seen regarding the journal and tracking. It doesn’t display the dates correctly for me and it says there is a new journal entry, but it isn’t there when I check. It’s all undiscovered entries. I’m on the iPhone 6 if that makes any difference at all. Would love to see a small fix sometime in the future. Thanks for the amazing work though! ?

This game is good I was in the middle of getting 31 shots for a medical procedure and I realized I was mostly done I had forgotten about them because I was trying to figure out the mansions mystery in my head!!

I play this game on my iPad mini and I bought all of the chapters, but every time I get close to finishing chapter two, the screen goes black and crashes, it does that every time, it also crashes at other points during the game, and I have it on low quality, I love this game, but I can't even play it more than 20 minutes max. So please fix this

After the playing the free prologue, I immediately decided to buy it based on the story it offered. The art is beautiful and the voice acting is great. I love how much you come to learn about each of the characters and how they each have something they are dealing with in their personal lives. This really helps one to connect with each of them. Although the story was intriguing, it did tend to drag out and become frustratingly boring and repetitive on many occasions. There were also times in which the the audio for the characters was missing. The ending left a lot of questions unanswered, so based on the player this could be a negative as it leaves you frustrated and yearning for more information after playing through multiple chapters, or a positive as it leaves it open for you to fill in the blanks and make theories based on what you were able to collect. Overall I believe this is a great game that is worth playing. There was a lot of work put into it, and it really shows through the story, artwork, voice actors, and the little hidden treasures they have to offer.
