Love it

This app helps you become more familiar with the thinking patterns used to answer most IQ questions on official tests. It serves as a great aid in improving your puzzle solving skills. I am not sure if the scoring system is accurate or not, because I scored an unusually high score of 152. I've realized the timer is irrelevant in your final score because I answered 38/50 questions correctly and so did my friend. The thing is, both of us took completely different time periods to finish the test yet scored the same score of 152. Clearly, time is not a factor that contributes to your final score meaning the timer is pointless. This also led to the conclusion that for each question you get correct, 4 points is added to your final score. Think about it- I got 38 questions correct and 38 x 4=152. IQ tests are based off how intelligent you are compared to everyone else. A score of 152 would make me 1 in 2,000 according to random sources on google. I do not believe I am that intelligent. If this test were accurate, then the mean of most test takers should be 100. Based off of my leaderboard position, the score of 152 set me in the 11th percentile. The significance of that means I scored higher than 89% of other users, meaning 11% scored higher than me. If that's case, I do not fit the "genius" definition as only the top .3% of the population are geniuses. This would set my legitamate score as ~119. The scores are definitely inflated- and that is a issue.

Hard , confusing , and fun

This game is really hard and confusing but it is still really fun the best thing is it doesn't call you stupid it just gives you a number of course mine was a 57%but. I'll keep trying if you are thinking about downloading it make sure that your up for a challenge this game is a big one ??

Very poor indicator

NicknameNotTaken13579

Having taken several proctored I.Q. Tests, I found this to be practically useless. The reasoning behind many of the questions was weak ( several were just straight-up wrong) and the emphasis on numbers was disproportionate. Very disappointing.

Polarized Success

The overall concept and layout of breaking intelligence out into cleanly, identifiable sectors is brilliant. With that being said, grammar and context conveyed in the Visualization test (a purchasable add-on) is sloppy and careless. Define the variation between mirror imaging and water imaging to the user. It appears that questions were worded by someone having knowledge of English as a second language and may have missed (or neglected to add) certain nuances. Programming and ease of use is fluid...not bad. Most importantly, at the end of the test, I'm not connected to rankings or any other meaningful analytics. People don't want to pay to take a test and hear they got a certain percentage correct without seeing the relationship between that and a metric that ranks them against their peers. Don't lost sight of the app's proposition offering as a whole.

crashy

Crashy, freezy. Just stops working in the middle of tests. Now I'll never know if I'm smart.

Uh?

I'm looking for something that gives me a score. Maybe I'm too dumb to find it? I spent quite awhile on working these problems out, getting mostly 80's or above. Is my IQ too low to figure out what my IQ is, or is that part of the exam?

Incorrect answers

Fun to do, but many of the questions are poorly worded or have multiple correct answers (eg. Multiple "mirror images" depending on the axis of symmetry!) I've also found a couple where the solution is flat out wrong.

Great Idea

I would like to think of this app as a rough draft for an app with lots of potential. It is easy to navigate and has interesting and engaging categories. However, many of the questions are either worded wrong or have wrong answers. It is very frustrating to come upon these errors. It is as if the developer was trying to rush the app out without going over his own work.

Good for a little "me time" but...

Let's just say the IQ of the person creating the questions can't be all that high. I got one question wrong that went something like this- Hand:elbow::leg:? The answer (according to this app) was "knee". The rationale was that an ELBOW IS A JOINT IN A HAND AND A KNEE IS A JOINT IN A LEG! Well, now I know the answer to the age-old question, "can one kiss their own elbow?" The answer is: Yes! Just kiss your own hand. Eyeroll...

Meh

Okay but a lot of questions have multiple possible answers, making the overall tests irrelevant.
