Free In-App Purchase for Full Midnight Version Not Working

I couldn't download the free "Full Midnight Version" since Friday, it would only try to charge me $2.99 eventhough the app was offering that as for free.

Love this app, have been using for years but the recent update now has ads. I paid for ad free version awhile back - tried hitting ‘restore purchase’ and ads still there.

You need and actual alarm like event timer with a clock so you can set an alarm to an event to a time.

I hate the ads. I upgraded to the latest version after a long hiatus of no updates from this app. Hoped that wouldn’t mean ads and there was nothing in the description about ads. Ads started showing up about a month after updating. I loved this calendar at would give it 5 stars, but minus 2 for the ads.
