This is without a doubt the best free, card based game in the App Store. The graphics are phenomenal and the actual gameplay is extremely addictive. The programmers and artists who worked on this program did a fantastic job. Do I recommend it? !!!YES!!! - But do not get suckered into making in-app purchases unless your name is Richie Rich $BuKoBuK$

This game is great. I love the ccg/tcg games and this one really stands out. From the amazing graphics and animations for battle to unique cards obtained through events, this game has it all weather you pay or not. Everyone should check this game out.

Excellent game with decent graphics. While occasionally repetitive, The Gate breathes a breath of fresh air air into the CCG genre. By incorporating one of the most unique combat instancing this game soars above and beyond other games in the CCG genre. TRY THIS GAME

Poor game balancing on Isla Mare continues to make this game a very poor choice for new players. Or even long time players. Isla Mare is essential to leveling your characters, but is an ongoing effort in frustration and humiliation. It's like getting punched in the nuts over and over and over again. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with this game until the fix the horrendous balancing on Isla Mare.
