What a great way to see your travel history from TripIt. Loved watching the foursquare-like badges pile up as my history was imported :-)

Great idea, but app does not work

The app does not handle flights with layovers. It will only show the first leg of a multiple segment itinerary. I emailed the developer about this issue and was promised a fix, but it has not happened. Also Tripit syncing often times does not work, and when it does work it takes FOREVER. Until the developer addresses the issues this app should be avoided.

Awesome app! Just wish we could retroactively log in past flight beyond four days ago. The scrollbar to do it is there, just wish we could enter in manually. Otherwise, five stars! Anyway to do this? Thanks again! Neat stuff!

Clunky and Slow

I love the concept of showing up all my business traveling buddies in a common app, but moving from screen to screen is cumbersome and slow. The overall visual design and features are stunning and would be fabulous if they worked with any regularity. I hate having to force a TripIt sync just to have somewhat correct information in the data fields. Any Southwest info tends to be ignored completely in any cumulative stats, especially in the trip to the moon and back. Overall, great idea but poorly executed.

Beautiful and intuitive app for frequent fliers

I found The Flying App while browsing for alternatives to the Trip It and Flight+ apps. Flying's design is beautiful; it's clean without losing functionality or necessary information. I have a few flights lined up and the at-a-glance view is so much clearer and thus faster to use/refer to than other apps. I have it set it up to sync with my TI account so it's a perfect replacement for their clunky app. The features are good so far (especially considering this is just a working beta) and the leaderboard, badges, and live infographics are cute too - so I've deleted my other apps! I'm a big fan. Thanks for making such a refreshing product and keep up the good work!

App needs to allow past flights

I would love this app however since it doesn't allow me to add my past flights it has been put in my useless app folder and leaves me hoping for an update. I have kept a record of all my past flights and I would like to be able to add them all so I can see how many miles I have flown in my lifetime. PLEASE CHANGE THIS!
