Not working

O K?a

My reading at the moment is probably incorrect and I'm hoping it will change to five stars shortly. I've tried to sign up for the paid version for about 2 hours and it won't recognize my password no matter how many times I change it and they except it! I have contacted the developer and they even return my phone call and I are working on the problem. I'm really hoping it works out and I will keep you updated.

Not Ready for Primetime

Signup was easy enough (although the fact that the Apple TV app cannot share the subscription from the main website or the iOS app is a big miss [they claim it is coming which is reasonable but the app hasn't been updated since April so hard to expect improvement in the near future]). As for the actual experience, the catalog is interesting but most of the material that I have seen is neither restored or HD which takes away most of the justification for subscribing to the service. Additionally the iPad app is quite unreliable...thus far it claims my device is unable to play videos roughly 50% of the time necessitating quitting the app and restarting. Lastly customer support is friendly but slow (and apparently only available during weekday regular working hours). Ultimately I would suggest waiting until they fix the app and improve the catalog - there are many more polished and reliable alternatives.

Don't subscribe! No way to cancel subscription.

There's no apparent way to cancel the recurring subscription within the app. And the movie selection isn't all that spectacular either.

A Cr@p Sandwich

Mr. Lucas Brice

I have the Apple TV version of this app. I signed up for a trial subscription through Apple TV. I can see in my Settings that the subscription is active but when I try to watch a movie, it tells me I have to subscribe. I would have paid for this but it doesn’t work, so I am terminating and also deleting my iPad app.

Not for kids - Mature content

Although the App Store shows a rating of 4+, this app includes films that feature nudity and adult themes (specifically “The Beast of Yucca Flats” as well as others.) So a warning to parents - this is NOT a nice innocent little app for your kids to watch old movies. SHAME on all involved for rating this as appropriate for children!
