This app is based on the principles of Positive Psychology however it is equally a useful tool for managing conditions, disorders or just difficult times in your life.
Take control and track your emotions to increase your wellbeing.
The emotion diary can be used by teachers and parents and students themselves to keep track of student’s wellbeing during the difficult secondary and university years when pressure to succeed can be at odds with well being goals.
The emotional diary was originally designed with therapy and counseling in mind. It's difficult to accurately recall how you felt over a period time when discussing with a health professional or therapist. How you feel at the time can misrepresent your perception of how you have felt since your last visit. This app was developed so you can quickly and easily track how you are feeling and share this with your health professional. You can share this information by reviewing it together on the app or you can email in advance.
The Emotion diary is a useful for self-analysis to record how you have felt and why. You may add a note if there is something particular that is responsible for the way you feel.
The Emotional Diary has a number of great features that you can purchase through the features option. These include the

Just about perfect app to track my daily moods. Simple interface is easy to understand and the tracking is nice. The only addition I would like to see is the addition of a calendar edit button so that I can enter the days I forget to log my emotion. Other than that almost perfect for my simple needs.
The real reason I'm writing this is so that I can be the first to write a review for this update...
Honestly, I would have rated 3 stars but I didn't want to scare people away from using this app. A few features away from being amazing. 1) I would allow for tracking throughout the day and average rather than have us look back on our day. 2) personal strengths section is lacking. To my knowledge, the most common positive psychology method is to use your strengths in new ways (generally focused on one or a few) and to write the methods used down, you can't do that with this app. 3) A general notes section would great, I would've love to store my gratitude letters in this app and have everything in one place. Over all, really like this app, I can see it really helping me try out positive psychology... It's simple but pretty effective, thank you for creating it
