=======

The Detail, a crime noir adventure in a modern American city.

Controlling the actions of a bitter veteran detective investigating a brutal gangland murder and a reformed criminal trying to protect his family, the player is forced to make tough choices and deal with the resulting consequences of those moral dilemmas. The gameplay focuses on branching narrative mixed with interactive comics, and is completed by a professional audio track.

The Detail combines the emotional impact of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead with the themes of a realistic crime drama like HBO's The Wire, delivered with our own unique visual style inspired heavily by graphic novels. This is city where cases matter, clearance rates matter, and on a good day even justice matters.

Features

- Character-driven experience with multiple playable characters
- Branching storyline influenced by the player's choices
- Mature themes for mature players
- Ethical and moral challenges

Has a cool vibe and I like the fact that you can have options on how to react and interact with other characters and circumstances but I find it really hard to move the character around the settings. My character is stuck in a room and I can't figure out how to get him out. Im playing on a new iPad so it's not a device issue. Sadly I'm giving up.

Great concept

I like what I've seen so far! Gripping story. I wish there were more games like this. Excited for more chapters.

Great, unique gameplay but short
Blaze0029

The graphics (part graphic novel part video game) are gorgeous and fit the noir tone well. I also loved the storytelling device of giving you choices and seeing the story from numerous perspectives. However part 1 is relatively short for the price -I hope those who bought it already won't want to pay another $5. The idea that your choices will have consequences and affect future gameplay (recorded in the character cards and summary at the end of part 1) is intriguing but it's hard to tell at this point just how much it will affect the future.

Too short for 5 bucks

I love the game the story is great the gameplay is great the only thing I thought sucked was how short the chapter was just when I was getting warmed up the chapter ended not worth 5 dollars for such a short chapter

Excellent.

The artwork, the look and feel, the music, the way they make me care about the characters - very well-done game. A nice touch is that you get a summary of the morality (or lack of morality) of your choices at the end of the chapter. Very well done.

Promising

Great looking game but stuck in investigation room with no way to keep going. I am tired of developers posting and charging for games that don't work properly.
