The app features a unique ‘tile board’ design that gives you quick access to the local news and information you care about. And there’s More, allowing you to submit news directly to us, use the app as a QR code scanner, and control your push notification and location settings.
Oh yea… and the app is free and requires no registration to use!
When I open the app it doesn't load past "The Crimson White" page. C'mon, I was expecting something a lot better from The CW.
Y'all have got some work to do on this. I clicked redeem offer for the only offer you have and a QR code reader pulled up.
This app has an interesting layout when you first use it, but when you click on a story it all falls apart. After you click, it takes you to the web page version of the story that isn't optimized for mobile - so the text is impossibly small to read. Try to go back to the home screen of the app and you are unable to see any more news. Nothing loads. The screenshots make it seem like the only function of the app is to sell you the "offers" under the offers section. Where's the news??? The more tab gives you some info about the CW and other features but they each say: "to be completed by The Crimson White." That's how I feel about the app as a whole - to be completed.
I don't understand why they even bothered publishing an app that seems nowhere near finished. Even the parts that are supposedly finished are extremely buggy. It seems like they didn't even test this app before publishing it.
Extremely buggy, would barely load. Disappointed but looking forward to any new updates to fix it.
How is this app still not compatible with the iPhone 5's screen? Why does the app have to "request" to update the latest news instead of just doing it automatically like my other news apps? The user interface is foreign and unfriendly. This has potential, but come on guys.
The comments on older versions certainly don't apply to the app that I just downloaded. This is really nice and easy to use. Love all the stuff combined into one app. Keep it up CW!
