Analog clock as a Compass

Scooter_2

Since the digital compass installed on the iPhone is very unreliable with no way to manually calibrate it I wanted a analog clock face to use as a compass. This one is perfect. If you don’t know how to do that point the hour hand at the sun. South will be half-way between the hour hand & noon if on standard time, or between the hour hand on 1:00 if on DST.

Best clock/alarm I’ve found

daughej

Great watch application all around. The alarm clock works well. Have a look at the settings, some of the things folks are missing can be found there. Once you get it to your liking, it’s really a very well designed app. Props to the designers. ??????

Almost perfect

McBeese

This is a really simple clock app that does everything I need it to do. It would be perfect if it were possible to choose red numerals for the digital clock setting. Red light doesn’t adversely affect night vision.

Make the icon live

Mic-E-Say

Much of what makes this app likable is in comparison with Apple who has become unlikable. I admire the simple elegance of the analog display. The red second hand reminds me of my 50-year old Heuer stopwatch that I still use to time my broadcast products. It took a while to figure out how to set the alarm time. The Tips & Tricks feature is nice; a more directional user guide would be more engaging. Because I relegated the Apple clock to Apple junk file on a back page, I wish this icon was live: showing the sweep second as does the one it replaced,

Outstanding.

Certainly Blessed

This is an elegant, well thought-out, versatile, and very useful app.

Gestures are terrible

This app would be OK but if you happen to bump the screen the display changes when you don’t want to. Developers need to rethink their graphical user interface.

Perfect

the best clock that without ads, big display, beautiful font, match to all I need

Forget this.

If you wanted a simple reliable analog clock, this is not it. Reverts constantly to digital or global with no clear way back to the analog you got this for. Very frustrating.
