Brett has created a great app and brought many improvements to it as he’s a great listener. I’ve always wanted to understand the Bible better and this app has helped daily for over 1200 days. I especially like the ability to create collections and name them as encouragement or faith or a book title or chapter or whole epistle and then assign verses to them. I can then quickly provide encouragement or strengthen my faith or know I can go to a book for more understanding and wisdom. There are now notes that can be added! Verses can be recorded or even sketches created to help remember a passage like the beatitudes. This app truly helps me with Joshua 1:8 or Psalm 1:2 by being in and meditating on the Word day and night! 23% of my phone use is Scripture Typer Pro, highly recommended. JB

The scripture Typer App is the best app I have ever used. It is very user friendly and almost bug free and has a great support team. Generally only takes a day or two to have a problem resolved. It provides a great method for me to memorize scripture. And the review reminders keep me current with my memorized scripture. I am getting older now and have been using this app to keep my memory active.

I had enjoyed using the app to memorize verses. I had even paid for an upgrade at one point. After a break, when I came back to it, my translation was no longer a free choice. I really am unhappy with this change.
Nearly impossible to get started

There are zero instructions in the app. I finally found instructions online, but there is nothing in the app suggesting using online help. Couldn’t find any help st all in the app. Wanted the app for convenience and saving time. Inconvenient and big time waster.

This app is amazing! You’ve thought of so many ways to make memorization a breeze. No one has any excuse for not memorizing, with something like this out there. Memorization is perhaps the least practiced, yet most vital habit in a Christian’s life. Be blessed!

This app has been such an awesome encouragement. I have never been a big memorizer but somehow memorized almost a verse a day in 2017. Now I find myself using Scripture to encourage people much more often — God can just bring it to mind with clarity and specificity. I’ve added a little memorization session to my daily devotions. But maybe the best thing is that it is counter programming — when your little addictions to Facebook or the ESPN app (or whatever your digital drug of choice is), you can instead reach for a little memorization boost. Pick your version (I’m old school with NIV84), define success for yourself (I use 94%). My kids even love seeing me try to remember my verses — what a great example for them to see their dad working to get the Word into his heart! My only critique: I want to donate to this app for all the good it’s done in my life but can’t figure out how!
