Crashes iphone6+

Haveyouseenmybaseball

Good, easy to read layout but it crashes too often.

Coolio

Crawnan

I guess you could call it *ahem* stellar.

App constantly refreshes

Jtmarks

App annoyingly reloads while you're trying to browse stories. Problem persists even after several app updates.

Solid

The layout is really nice, just like an actual newspaper, getting to the different sections is really easy. I love how you can outline the page headers by level of importance to you.

Slow and irrelevant

Wwdiner

Many articles are days old. This is a poor substitute for the digital newspaper that at least had the look of the paper copy. I'm better off using Flipboard for my news.

Slick, but has major issues!

AstroPaul

Grew up getting the Baltimore Sun hard copy paper. Always impressed with its quality, and, as long time Orioles fans, enjoyed its coverage and, more recently, the BS dedicated Orioles app. Sorry to see that go! As to this... Smooth, well thought out app. Permits customization of sections; easy movement around app; scrolls well. ISSUES 1. Too many advertisements. They are embedded in the headline list for each section and, worse, in the middle of every single story. They remain there even if one is reading offline! Will they still be there if we subscribe? Until we know that, we won't subscribe. 2. Text is small and there is no way of changing the font size, at least none that we can find. We don't hold our devices up to our eyeballs, so this is a problem. Until that is added, we won't subscribe or use the app. Note: the BS Orioles app has font size controls , but even its largest size was too small. 3. The sections list is incredibly long, including county after county! Those should be grouped and put at the bottom. As it stands, it requires too much rummaging and rearranging to get sections right. Hope you all can fix these things -- we would like to keep following the O's even though we now live hundreds of miles away from home!

Go home every mornings-(,

The Sun is my companion and a nice way to ground myself with place and identity of early self in Baltimore and Anne arundel county.

Analog was better

Mal's Gal 2

I don't care for the new digital app. Small news articles don't "come up" and the app crashes regularly. The old app may not have shown pictures as well, but articles were easy to read.

Good app for the news

PaulFranz

If you like news from the Baltimore Sun, this is a good solid app that gives you access to the electronic form of the news.

Annoying ad pop ups

hightide311

I cannot close the pop ads, and they cover up the news. This is annoying, and I have to restart app everytime.
