Great sound and Keyboard

The synth sounds great with some really rich sounds. The keyboard is a joy to use and very expressive. The IAP is well worth it.

Being able to innovate on an analog synth is impressive. Let's add a recorder, automation and landscape-portrait mode and it is a rare 5 star. I would enjoy seeing more apps from you then every 4 years......LOL----- cuz they really good quality.
Big synth for the small screen

A very good sounding synth for iPhone with TF7's innovative keys/pads, I was only frustrated by the knob action before this update but now they work the way I would expect. I hope to see an iPad UI in the future, along with patch editing access in landscape mode. I don't use my phone for making music and I use the iPad in landscape mode. I suspect I'm not alone in that.

Love the app and the price - HATE that it runs my battery down by running in the background. Also don't like that it is operating in the background! I could show the screenshot of what my iPhone reported as it using 65% of the battery over period of time that I wasn't using it at all. I now have removed it from my phone.

First: regarding the changes - settings change with preset. This is a drastically helpful update. It drove me nuts to completely build a tone and arp again because i changed the preset sound. Let alone changing the key back to boring C major again. Good change. BUT..why cant the settings STAY after you close it? I have to go back into the settings to make it keep these new settings back off. Or just default to all of the changes to presets being off. Its more natural. No one really should WANT the entire thing to change with a preset. Midi: not sure what the problem was, but i know Audiobus 3 midi support is not available yet. It will load into midi slot but no sound goes through. The arpeggio step sequencer is a little confusing with its flow of what plays and when. Maybe a little visual notification, or a blinking light when it plays. It takes too much fidgeting when building it. Still requesting - This to be less iphone and more of an ipad layout. Fix the landscape look, should have controls. No one turns their ipad during performances. I seriously do love both TF7 AND TF8. Its just on the line of being perfect, and those couple changes would make it consistently usable.

Much like TF7, TF8 is an easy-to-use yet powerful iOS synth app. While the app is free, you'll definitely want to buy the IAP's to utilize the additional features.

Seriously! At first you're like another synth until you start digging only to be rewarded by this IOS gem! I want to thank the developer for allowing us to test drive the synth before buying the IAP for the Pro version which unlocks even more golden nuggets. Was playing this synth being driven via midi by KRFT and was completely floored! It's a definite instabuy at this price and the developer has mentioned that the AU treatment is in the works so this means you will be able to have many instances of this synth running in AUM, AudioBus or Cubasis or any DAW that hosts AUs. In summary, I am sooooo glad I purchased the pro IAP it is totally a no brainer! I highly recommend this Synth app! MM4C
