I would have to spend a hundred dollars a month to buy as many magazines in print form vs. what I can view digitally thanks to Texture. Some digital issues also include live interviews and extra photos not available on the print versions. Love Texture!

This has to be one of the most frustrating apps I’ve experienced. The content is absolutely great, but the app itself is so frustrating. If you’re reading an article and decide to stop and finish later,it would be nice to go to that article when reopening the app. I’ve also have had the app close on me while using it.

It took me a bit of time to transition from paper magazines to digital magazines. Now that I have made that transition I love Texture! All my favorite magazines are delivered online monthly and I don’t have stacks of paper ones to take to the recycle each month. I can also save specific stories and share them with friends! In the Highlights section I can read interesting stories from magazines I am not familiar with. Lopez, WA

This is an app I use almost daily. It has helped clear out my mailbox of the paper copies. I love being able to download he magazines before jump on a flight or hanging out at the pool or beach. Have turned a number of friends onto it and all of them have thanked me. Simplifies life with less clutter.

Magazines that are no longer in print/digitally produced are still advertised as part of their offerings. Within the app they are listed also with no indication that there will be no new issues in the future.

I signed up for a free trial before a long trip last year so I could have a lot of reading material without the bulk. At fury I was delighted. I downloaded magazines before my sixteen hour flight and it helped pass the time. Then I started to experience more and more glitches. The app would close every few pages and when I would reopen it, it forgot my place. I decided it wasn’t worth it. Then before my free trial period was over and I could cancel I was charged for the first month. I followed this up with Apple and they helped me cancel my subscription and refund the money. I also emailed texture to let them know how disappointed I was both with the glitches and with the fact that the charged me within the free trial period. I never heard back. Then later this year I started getting charged for it again out of the blue on my credit card. It was not through Apple, but when I contacted them they insisted that I had signed up but cancelled anyway. Fast forward to Christmas when someone gifted me a subscription to texture. As it was a gift I decided to give it a try. I do love how much content is available but I am still disappointed that downloading is so slow and that it still glitches. I can’t read one magazine without the app closing. At least now it remembers my place. If it didn’t glitch and if Customer service was better I would love this app but as it is there is still improvement to be had before it’s outstanding.

Don’t sign up for Texture. I got the week’s free trial and then tried to find a way to say “no thanks please cancel.” But they don’t offer any easy way to cancel. They’ll probably take at least one month’s fee until I can figure out how to disconnect from Texture. Lousy customer service.
