A different take on Texas Hold 'Em, addictive, fun and educational

In this game you don't play as 1 player -- instead you can see all the hands and you get to pick which hand is the best for each round of betting. This is fun, addictive, and makes you a MUCH better player over time. Being forced to decide right away who has a good hand is great practice. It makes you develop a better feel for the game. I find this game addictive. I just got it and have been playing it for a couple of hours already. Really fun! The sound is nice too.

Loads of fun!

A fast paced poker game that keeps you on your toes - I played ten times in a row after downloading it - I'm hooked!

BOOOO! No 1st generation support.

The iOS Gamer!

Too bad it's incompatible. Would have wanted try out this app. Can't fathom why only 2nd gen's were made compatible for this. To be fair, notice I didn't give a one-star. Hoping for an update.

1st generation phone and works

Loves free stuff

Went against reviews and downloaded and it worked At first I thought it was going to be a book with examples but it's more like a game.. Wish it would explain why some cards have a higher chance and what My winning estimate should be after turns and rivers

Fun but lacks accuracy

ReideriPads

This game overvalues suited cards WAY too much, I keep being told I'm wrong, so I run the numbers in real software like Pokerstove and it turns out I am usually right. However, I still think it is a cool game and a neat concept.

Perfect !!!

Quake III

This app is what the Ipod Touch / Iphone is all about. This app has quick game play at an instant, and moves along at a almost action pace. No clumsy multiable buttons, just clean, touch and pick the best hand. If your a Hold'em player? This is a great twist on the whole concept of Texas Hold'em. "Texas Pick'em" makes for great practice for all Texas Hold'em players. Only thing missing is a option to enlarge the cards if needed. Clubs and Spades sometimes tough to tell the difference. Plenty of room on the Touch Screen to allow for this feature.

Fun

Different and addicting. Worth the download.

Close but no cigar

Penalizes sometimes when odds are equal between 2 hands - WTF? Also seems a bit wonky on flush hands - I'm sorry but trips on the turn ARE a better hand than waiting for a river flush, and there ought to be a 'you were right after all' strike credit when the hand I stick with ends up winning. Seems silly to be penalized for odds when your hand ends up raking it in anyways.

Fun but not Accurate

TIGERstyle

This app will make your holdem game worse. I started to guess  that the app thought had better odds just to win. That's when I knew I had to delete the app. This can cost one alot of  at the tables if one starts to memorize or think certain  are better than they are. The graphics and sounds are fun tho. Get an update and I will buy the app. 

Fun to play but tons of quirks

ProjectDeeds

I only gave it 2 stars because it is fun to play and addicting. The downsides: If you choose a pair of cards that is the same percentage (say 14%) as another pair with 14%, 99% of the time it will give you an X for being wrong which makes no sense and needs fixed. My other gripe is that there could be a hand with a pair of 7s, a hand with 2 off number spades and then say a King and queen. The 1st 3 cards are 4 spade, 6 spade and king of hearts...If you choose your king & queen hand for the pair, it will give you a strike & say that the 2 off number spades was the correct hand. How and why is this happening???
