This game is a lot of fun. I am no poker expert but have played a few tournaments and you will get a feel for real action here. I think there are a few bugs but nothing major. I wish the wheel to set the bet size were easier to control. Still playing after months and months so it must be doing something right. Also the blinds climb too quickly. A lot of end games are all-in at the deal.

Great game but I have to put my iPad in airplane mode to get it to run. It's weird... unless it's in airplane mode it tries to connect to Game Center and freezes Aside from that, awesome game

I have been playing this app for 4 years. I got the original version for my iPad. It is not available for d/l anymore. The older app has a cowboy hat as it's icon. The new app has a shield with a poker club colored red on it. I played the older version (it was free) until I saw the new version. It was not free. I still have both, but I play the new version. When you open the app the screen may go black. If it does, just leave it alone. It will eventually open the app and you can play. Don't freak out and think something is wrong. I believe it is updating. Sometimes it will play it's music. It reset your preferences if you had the music turned off. Getting to the play of the game. I know a lot of people complain about how slow it is. You just have to accept the way of it. I don't think the programmers or developers are going to fix it. It is what it is. The more you play the more you learn about the app. As a teacher of hold'em it is not. You can learn the game, but it won't teach you how to win. My biggest complaint is it is not realistic. You can say that anything is possible in hold'em, but having made a large enough bet with pocket aces to put another player all-in before the flop; and have them call with a 4-9 off-suit and win because a pair of 4s made the flop.....well, I think you know. No human player is going to make that call. I could understand if the other player had only a few big blinds, maybe. Not when they had 20. Anyway, I play it because it's a good time-waster. I don't care about the achievements. My goal in every game is to come in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. I only play Silver Cat because that is where you win the most money. Some of the casinos don't let you get your entry fee back even if you come in 3rd. Since I got the new app I have played 207 games. I have over $330,000. I have come in 1st 65 times, 2nd 31 times and 3rd 19 times. I have more than 50% success in making money or breaking even. That is my goal. I agree about the bad beats too. I've seen it too many times. See the description above. The glitch that allows another player to win money on the last hand, when they clearly lost, also exists. I have come in 2nd because of that. A chip and a chair. I will continue to play it. One more thing, it is an off-line game. This is an update. I hope my review has helped those that think something is wrong when the screen goes black. I can't speak to the app locking up and having to delete and reinstall. I have never had to do that. I do know that the glitch on the last hand still exists. The all-in player (including you) is still in the game even though the all-in player clearly lost the hand. I have to go back to the unrealistic play of the game. I wish the programmers would stop with all of the super aggressive raising. It detracts from the play. Or the players (AI) that call when they are drawing dead. They have no hand and no draw, but continue to call. The app needs a serious upgrade to become more realistic. I won't change my rating until I see some improvements. Update As of 8/7/16 I have over $900k. It has been a struggle. The bad beats continue. The bad calls continue. That is the most frustrating. I don't think the developers read the reviews. If they do, they don't care enough to make the game better by making it more realistic. I'll keep playing it, but I still won't change my rating until I see more realism in the game. Update As of 3/29/17 I have over 1.5 million. It's been a difficult road. Everything I have said in the past still rings true. I have come to the conclusion that the programmers are on permanent vacation. They are never going to do anything to improve this app. Nothing has changed in the 5 years that I've been playing this app. I have never seen one upgrade in all that time. I play it exclusively on my iPhone 6 Plus and it has never changed one iota. So, I'm going to stop asking for the programmers to do anything because they're not going to. That's a shame because this could be a really great off-line app. The unrealistic nature they have programmed into this game just makes it hard to take. I'll continue to play it of course, but my expectations are hovering around zero for any improvements.

Texas hold 'em....Good game app. Easy to figure out, the program allows bluffing, it does have some logic flaws that, when figured out improves your winning percentage. Play almost daily. Great game for waiting in airport.

I have been playing this for years. Now my browser says this app needs updating or will not play on newer updates to browsers. I have noticed that it takes up to 3 minutes to load on my iPad. Please try to update this app without me losing current stats. When I got a new pad I had to start from scratch.

Can you please update this version of Texas Holdem. I just did the latest version of iOS update and now I can’t play. It’s telling me that this app has not been updated in 4 years. PLEASE!! I’m missing my daily poker fix!
