Nice app except for the email glitch

I love the fact that it works with the USTA website for schedules and contacts but sending email to players glitches too often. I need to delete the app and re-download for it to work. :(

I captain a USTA team in Austin Texas. This app has been so helpful in streamlining team communication with 17 players. It makes doing the lineup so much easier too! It took a couple of weeks to get my ladies used to using it, but now it’s working great!! I schedule team practices weekly, send out lineups, team emails, record scores (which link to USTA website) all thru this app. Definitely recommend!!

Cannot find how to remove myself from a team, or how my new team adds me. Otherwise, so Far, I like TP, as long as captains keep the team site updated. Ends the endless searching for emails from weeks past. Cool.
Poor user experience and interface

I don’t ever write reviews for apps but this was so frustrating I felt compelled to share my thoughts. I captained 5 teams last year and have not ever used TennisPoint, just my own excel and WhatsApp with my teams and they’ve worked fine. I joined a team captained by someone else this year (while still captaining my own team) who uses TennisPoint. I signed up for an account and downloaded my app but have no idea how to use it. All articles found online are not helpful and all my captain says is that her team is on TennisPoint. Well great but how do I join? Or does she have to add me? Can I find the team myself and request to join? I’m not the only one confused everyone who is new to the team is asking the same questions on group chat. I would never use this app for my own teams because I don’t want my people to experience this frustration. I’m also fairly tech savvy and use apps on my phone for everything from banking to shopping and entertainment. Between the not mobile friendly website and the app this has been one of the worst user experiences I’ve encountered hands down. Tech seems to be stuck in early 2000s interface. I love the game but this app has made playing league more of a headache than anything else. Hard pass.

Dry helpful but issues with new users

Love this app. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 stars is the difficulty of adding new team members. Each season, at least one person cannot see our team. The support group is very quick to fix the issue but I am never told what the issue was. Even if they provided a list of items to check it would help.

Love the directions hate the sorting

Used to cut paste game details to calendar, but no longer with directions in TennisPoint. Thank you! The sorting facility for player performance is anemic. They sort numeric data alphanumerically which is high school sophomore level programming. All the same the software has so many beneficial features I have to give it five stars.

Great App! I wish that it would give you a notification if something changes for the date you are scheduled. I.e., if my scheduled partner changed or if the captain posted a rainout, wreck on the highway and teams/players are running late.
