Great game

Mr. Lake

This game is a throwback to the games of the middle 90s when full-motion video was the new hotness. I for one really enjoyed this game. It kept me entertained for hours. It can be a little cheesy at times but in the end that's part of its charm. If you are looking for something different then I highly recommend playing this!

Video Scenes Edited from original, Still a great story!!

I had the original CD-ROM version of this game back in 1998. I was in high school the first time I played this. I didn't really understand most of it back then. But I found it here on App store recently and have been playing it thru non stop. I really enjoyed this story. One of the most annoying things I have encountered is the cut scenes (video scenes) have been edited from the original version. The original CD-ROM version showed full frontal nudity in some of the scenes. This App Store version has them either edited out or blurred in some way. Beth Tegarden (d.) and Marie Caldare exude eroticism and sexuality very well in this story. Hard to believe this was made almost 20 years ago. Sorry to read that Beth passed away recently.

Boring with terrible ending a many bugs

The video skips around so the story doesn't make much sense. It also has a very lack luster ending. Keep your money this is a waste of time.

Psychological Thriller

Twenty+ years since TLC was published, and it still is interesting to ...experience I think is the correct word. The gameplay is interesting (albeit not new anymore) in being able to freely roam and interact as little or much as you please. However, I'm not sure how - if at all - looking at things influences your profile. Many a completionist have probably had profile errors like mine. SPOILERS BELOW Those helicopter shots. It blows my mind that not too long ago, people had to rent and man helicopters just to get an aerial view. Even though I give TLC five stars, I personally have some gripes about it. The above mentioned completionist problem, the lack of a scene tracker to view which paths have been taken and are left... My most cheesy gripe is the lack of a good ending, or at least one where Kathryn lives and/or Allison is cured. I know that the story is just to support the TAT, but still... ah, well, I'll blame the ninetys.
