It seems no matter where I go in the house my devices just connect to the central access point instead of the closest one. The result is that I only get half bars in most of the house. If I was interested in that I would have simply purchased and configured another router instead of spending 240 euro on a fancy mesh system. A shame.
Mesh is good. The app, not so much.

Priority #1 for Tenda Developers - Fix the firmware upgrade routine PLEASE!!! Since I bought it (I have FIVE nodes) I wasn’t able to update the firmware because the process freezes at the end (keep telling me “Downloading 99%” forever). Otherwise, Product is good, easy to install and works well.

You guys should add some iPhone WIDGETS, it will save some time. There are a lot of bugs in this app, some time it is not working properly. High frequency is not stable, it have to set it from the web management again and again.

App worked great in English until IOS UPDATE- now in Chinese and is useless to me. HELP Tenda!

App was great til it changed to complete Chinese. I have zero ideas on even where to begin to fix it. I don’t speak Chinese nor read it. Put it back to English please!!

The mesh network setups easily and the coverage is good. However it is buggy, the software is lackluster at best, there are real privacy concerns and trying to update the firmware is a task I wouldn’t assign my worst enemy. It is cheap but it is cheap.
