Wanted an app that does not open the links in the browser. Found this one after trying many other apps available. Works perfect. Lots of useful features in a very user friendly interface. Five stars!

Overall great but needs some fixes

It still has a few bugs and fixes to do but overall solid news reader compared to Flipboard and Feedly. This shows RSS is still not dead, just needs a fresh thinking. It can improve on infinite scrolling and their search. I also wish they had folder management for all the news I follow

Great news digest

I am a huge fan of their daily emails with news digest, it gives me daily dose of top news. I check the app less frequently but can rely on surfacing important news everytime. it also shows top youtube videos in the home feed which is great. I'm currently experimenting with following all my youtube channels here.

Solid RSS Reader

It lacks some of the power features by other RSS readers such as newsify and feedly, but I like how they compile all my RSS sources into one home feed sorted by upvotes. This way I can follow a bunch of rss feeds and still get top news.

A better version than Apple news

After getting fed up with the Apple news, I was searching for a new news app and I think Telescope has won me! Their reddit style news feed makes it super easy to follow trending news and unlike apple news i can follow any RSS feeds I want. It also helps that they dont spam you with notifications as apple news.

Clean design

I like the clean and simple design of the Telescope app. I like how I can control the news sources I follow and what shows up in my news feed. I usually like to keep a tab on nyt, wired, wsj, etc, but I wish they had more recommendations on the content to follow.

Its clean UI makes it a no brainer. This app ranks besides Nytimes and WSJ for me. It's my go to app now to follow all news. I wish they had iPad version
