I really appreciate what this app offers. It is versatile, user-friendly and makes everything easier when recording videos. Really like the recording feature where you can go in selfie mode and the text overlays the shot! I have recommended and will continue to recommend this to others.

App works flawless for me for pro video shoots on latest iPad and software and well worth 12 bucks. Plus the Ikan elite remote works perfect without any setup except turning Bluetooth on and pairing. Nice work guys and customer service is outstanding.

Just installed the latest release and it is absolutely fantastic!!! I love the fact that I now can control the Teleprompter with my phone. Fantastic. I can move around a lot more freely now instead of having to stand near my iPad to pause and / or start Teleprompter. Fantastic improvement...love it!!!!

Can´t sync any device to scroll - app crashes on iPhone and keyboard does not get recognized

I used to love this app but the update removed the change scroll direction shortcut from keyboard control which makes no to me! How to scroll the text back up if I make a mistake??

I downloaded this app’s lite edition and saw how easy and user friendly the teleprompter is. Clicked on the video to try the video recording function. I was notified that I had to upgrade to pro to use it... fair enough. I paid $11.99 for pro to use the video. Tried the video feature again but nope, this time I was told I had to pay another $4.99 to use the video feature. And you can’t even use it in landscape mode! I hate it when app developers do this. I don’t mind paying for a good app, but I can’t tolerate the sleight of hand. Sorry, but I don’t give more than a 1 star rating to app developers who cheat and defraud their users.

I've paid all the way up to $20 for an app that can do just this! And after testing like 5 different apps... Even though you would think they would function all the same... This one has been beneficial for all of my clients when filming. 1. The horizontal or vertical flipping to reflect the script, is just brilliant. 2. The control speed of the script is perfect. Anywhere between 9-13 is the sweet spot. 3. Seamless importing documents from google drive, is outstanding. Some of my clients need this to create Facebook or YouTube ads. And it works perfectly! I just shot on the beach whil using this for my client. It looks soooo DOPE! You've found your match with this app!

Good, but not ready for Pro use

The app has a decent editor and scrolls text with the various necessary controls. What I really wanted, though, was proper remote control. With the iOS app on an iPhone, you first have to load the same script on both apps. It’s easy... but why can’t the scripts just sync? Worse, the text my talent sees on the iPad is NOT the same text that I see on my iPhone (!!!). In fact, it even be gets completely out of sync where I see one thing, the reader sees another. So I’d have to sit not behind my camera, but where I can read the teleprompter. And if I then try to scroll the iPad using my phone, it jumps to where my phone is, so I can’t make those subtle and smooth pushes and pulls that a good prompter operator would do. It makes zero sense whatsoever. Also, while you can change background colors, it doesn’t appear you can change text color. I prefer green type... but my choice is white. So, it’s a decent app, and might get there in future versions. But this isn’t yet an app suited for professional use.
