New Version 6 Eliminated My Favorite Feature

Before Version 6, the Ted app showed approximately five new talks at the top of the screen each week and kept them in a timeline. I watched them regularly. Now it shows a scrambled set of talks. I have watched virtually none. How is this progress?

Problems after update

After update my app, I can't download voice. And all of them must be download as a video. Then I downloaded a video of course, but when I wanted to see it 1 day later, my video was not downloaded!! I mean I must download it again! I want the previous version!!

The new version is horrible! Anytime something is suggested for me and I click on the link it takes me to a plethora of articles but never to the actual talk. Even searching for it is a nightmare. I always get that talk doesn’t exist , even though I’ve hear it before. Also all my favorite are gone with the new update. Only the partial title shows in the TED app, you essentially have to click on every article to see if it’s a talk that interests you. The format is terrible! It’s looks nothing like the old version show in the App Store.

I cannot believe after months of curating videos to rewatch and share with others that this update completely erased all my LIKES and HISTORY and EVERYTHING. I cannot believe that an organization that prides itself in sharing knowledge would hire such lame app developers to destroy my collection of knowledge. I have many other words I would rather use.

Where did the listen button disappear !!??

I used to love listening to ted talks without the video content while doing some routine tasks but in the new update I can’t see that feature to be there anymore and that totally screwed it up for me

Problem with timeline

The screen full of links in order of release has now been replaced with a short strip of “newest” talks links. However, the history does not go as far as it used to and, more importantly, the talks are not kept in order (seem to be randomly scrambled set of recent talks). Please reinstate the order of release arrangement and increase the length of the “newest” strip of links.
