This app sounds great, plain and simple, if you want a 303, it doesn't get any better than this. This app is from the same company that makes the "ABL2" renowned 303 emulator. So you don't need to worry about the sound, it is like you used a shrink ray on a 303 and uploaded it to your iOS device :) @4.99, get it! It is a killer app!
This is almost what rebirth would be if propellerhead supported rebirth! The only drawbacks so far....no panning at all from what I see and for some reason, the developers think the 303 note entry method is efficient - yuck! Love the 303 sound but the entry is torture.
If you wanted to use rebirth but found the price to be a little off putting then I would give this app a try. The interface is very well put together the sounds are accurate and I found the price to be great for what you get. The only thing that would be needed to propel this app into the masses and get a higher rating(5stars)would be if the developer could add audio copy. That way I could take riffs made here and send them into another app to make a full song. Right now you can make full songs in this app and the song arranger is very easy to use. The downside is that the last great album to use "rebirth" was probably daft punks' homework in 99. JK,but I would like to use this with all the other great synth apps so please consider audio copy to pasteboard or other standard. Don't be fooled by the name here folks. This is not one of those cheap "box" throw away apps that are made in ten minutes and then abandoned. This is a real deal rebirth machine. It will do the trick. (I do not work for the developer,as many who think that any good review must be tied to the product,I am not. I am a user)
Kool n fun.... Only thing to take it to another level is panning.....right now everything is in the middle of the stereo spectrum....would be cool to place one synth on the left and another on the right ....panning the hi hats to the right,etc......
Well I seems to me that it should let you choose drum and sinth loops but it don't, maybe I am expecting to much but I want something that let's me create from sample loops! I am not happy but oh well!
This is s good sounding app. After awhile, it all starts to sound the same though. It is a bit confusing as well. Recommended as a secondary music app. There are better out there.
