I am able to get my Jr. High students familiar with what many colleges will be doing with their classes. You can post assignments, HW, and announcements! Get it!
Close to perfect
Positive annoyance
I use this app as a teacher in a school with 1:1 student iPad use. I LOVE the app because I can send notifications to students about tests and assignments. I can also include both for the students to download, complete, and email back to me. This makes parts of my class completely "online" and prepares students for college. What I DO NOT LIKE is that the blog goes through twitter. Our school Internet blocks all social networks and therefore I can not use the blog portion to hold discussions....and I would really like to!! Also it would be nice if the notifications went right to the iPad and popped up on their screen instead of just notifying in the program ( lazy students don't always open the program).

Since I chose not to share my location when registering,it automatically wouldn't allow to continue with the registration process; stating I chose not to share my location with teachers.io. Therefore if it's a must that we share our location. It should be a notice to all about location sharing is required in order to use this app.
Good but not great

This program works nicely to push assignments out to students with iPads. We have stopped purchasing student planners for the grade levels with one to one iPads. Sometimes the assignments don't post to the student planner fast enough, occasionally it does not post at all. This glitch must be fixed. I posted an assignment on Friday, it is still on my program but as of Monday it had not posted to the student planners. I will delete the assignment and do it over but I lost the weekend homework time for the students.

This app is great bc of its connection to myhomework. I can send announcements, hw.t It would be great if I could use my own terminology, they call everything a test, assignment or hw. it does very little for me as a teacher, except feed info to my kids. Valuable but didn't,t need to be its own app.

Since the recent updates, this is an excellent way to put up assignments when not at a computer. Very helpful! Some functionality even better than desktop site (such as ability to add an assignment to multiple classes).

Really needs a Calendar view for lessons!!! Would make the app near perfect to teachers.

I found this today, made a Teachers.io account, and announced the myHomework app--by 6th period I already had 16 students sign up. Really nice appearance and easy to use. I recommended it to all the teachers on our staff. Thanks!
