My son (whom just turned 5) has a Kindle Fire with FreeTime Unlimited and he found this game there. For days he was playing it and telling everyone how it was his new favorite game. I watched him play it and was shocked at the level of education it provided as, sadly, educational games rarely hold my son’s interest. I’m currently setting up an old iPad Mini 2 to swap him away from the Kindle and when I saw this game, there wasn’t any questions, I immediately downloaded it! I highly, highly recommend you add this game to add to you child’s learning library.

I have 3 children who use this app, ages 4, 6 and 8. They are each playing at a different level. I think the app is very effective if combined with other programs and reinforced by the parent. We use it mostly for a fun way to bring more opportunities to enjoy reading into our home.

I swear this app is what finally helped my daughter start to blend her words. It does a wonderful job at making learning fun! Worth every penny. There are lots of levels and planets to conquer!

My 5 year old learned how to read with this app and now my two year old is learning so much just from watching his big brother play. I have recommended this game to all of my friends. I love it and cannot stop telling others about it! Finally a program that actually works to teach little kids how to read in a fun way. No wonder they won a BAFTA award!
Great except for...
intel work
This app is great. My 6 year old loves it. The only thing that holds it back just a little is the vowel consonant blends. They are in a British accent and we are American. It’s not a bad thing but it could work against him during tests in school.

My students love this program and so do I!! I love the way the program builds knowledge through repetition. The new practice feature is great for reviewing sounds a student struggles with. I send the login information home and encourage parents to have their children practice at home, too. I was so excited about the week of free app downloads. My kinders can manipulate the iPad much better than a laptop with a mouse. Thank you for this amazing program!!

My son loves the game, but we found a glitch in the octopus level the letters did not show up on the apartment building, but other then that we are having so much fun.

I am a teacher and this has been a supplement to our curriculum. Each k-1st grade class that I have used it with absolutely love becoming the teacher to their monster. I use it as a reward on Fridays and the students don’t even know that their still learning the skills. The app is worth it because there’s no ads or anything extra to buy. Definitely worth $5.00!!
