I supervise several Chinese American. This app gives me some words and phrases to interact with them. They were very appreciative that I made the effort to learn Chinese. I look to forward to increasing my vocabulary as updates become available.

Really good first-time exposure to Chinese phrases that is semi-interactive for the very beginner in the language. The formatting is not intimidating and English is spoken in the beginning and end of the story to keep you from being lost in the story line. It will be interesting to see how the next chapters are presented. What is really clever about the story formatting is the context in relation to the dialog. The phrases in Chinese are better understood when they are presented in the context of the story which offers the student an clearer understanding of the meaning of the words and how they are used. I also appreciate the clarity of the speakers and the opportunity to have the phrases repeated as often as needed. Thank you to the developer for this app, it was very timely for me and keep the chapters coming...can't wait for the next installment!

This app is great for teaching simple phrases to kids and beginners. The designers employ methods of repetition, imagery, storyline, and review to help users retain memory of the lesson. The lesson not only teaches you how to speak, but also how to read. I would recommend this app to any if mu friends who are parents.

I liked the game a lot. I payed for the rest. Only .99 however, it force closes after you take the first test. I would like to get the levels I paid for. I enjoyed the demo. Please fix it?

This app really allows me to start with the basics of learning how to speak chinese and learn some basic characters step by step. I also like the interaction and storyline! Im on my way from not knowing chinese to building a robust vocabulary!

I think this is a much more fun and interactive way to learn the basics of conversational Chinese than most of the traditional methods. It certainly can be a great supplemental tool in helping you learn/review some of the common dialogues you would use on a daily basis. Highly recommended for Chinese school students!
