Why so many ads?

Why do I have to deal with ads and pop up videos while I’m channel surfing? That’s ridiculous.

Only works once the TV is turned on manually or with the remote that came with the TV. Really defeats the purpose of the app!!
You have to pay $2 to remove ads?

I downloaded this app so I would have another option other than using the physical remote control. The remote that came with the television has buttons on the side, and it’s difficult to use. Imagine my surprise when I found out after downloading the app that there were advertisements. I bit the bullet and paid the two dollars to remove the ads. That gets them a one star review. If TCL doesn’t like it, then don’t produce an app for a tv I bought that has obnoxious ads.

I’m in the middle of throwing out old clothes and misplaced my remote. I downloaded this app really quick and it connected to my tv in less than 30 seconds! Life saver!
Better options exist

There are better similar apps, do your research before purchasing the upgrade. I regret my in-app purchase, and unfortunately Apple doesn't provide app refunds, even for sub-par rip-off apps like this one!
