It's not a grognard game to be sure but a quick little war game set on the Eastern Front of WW2. I am now tempted to buy the others in the series. If you liked Panzer General you might enjoy this.

A great game. Thank goodness there is a fun, playable game dedicated to this part of ww2. Plenty of interesting units and great scenarios. Reminds me old school "the perfect general" on my 386 machine. Just great- thank you developers for making this game and keeping this genre alive.

Great game, enjoy all their armor games. Wish they made modern armor games based on Arab-Israeli conflicts or a NATO-Warsaw pact though.
Typical hex war product - great idea, but a little sloppy

Most levels are ridiculously simple, even on "hard" level. A few are very challenging. Minus one star for not proofing their text and minus one star for releasing other versions of this game that were not properly tested. For instance, the level entitled "Confusion" was clearly never beta-tested, as it absolutely cannot be beaten at any level other than casual. I don't know what these "developers" do for their day jobs, but they are possibly the worst programmers to ever have a product released on iTunes.

This game is excellent. The concept and graphics are great. Also the missions. Thank you HexWar for noticing the hardships for the Russians on the “Western” front.
